All-staff away day: icebreaker
It’s a really good idea to have an icebreaker at the start of an away day. It removes any awkwardness around meeting new people and gets attendees warmed up to the main event.

All-staff away day: embedding your values
This well-paced, highly interactive all-staff event moves through various discussion points on tables, eliciting ideas for positive, constructive ways of working within the organisation. Using the online tool Slido, attendees use their mobile phones to contribute ideas, which then become visible in real time on the big screen. I capture all the ideas and feed them back to the event’s organisers for taking forward after the event.
